The Move to Alameda Point Naval Air Base is ON

January 31, 2014

The Alameda Point Naval Air Base has been closed for years now. Recently, the City of Alameda acquired the Naval Base with plans for modifications and new construction already in action.

Alameda Point is known for it’s beautiful views of the San Francisco skyline, wildlife habitats, and headquarters to innovative local businesses such as Rosenblum Vineyards and Hangar 1 Distillery.

The point has also been the venue for TV shows like “Mythbusters!” and the film “The Matrix.”We at Brix Beverage feel that with its cool history, and its centralized location in the bay—there’s no better place for us to call home!

Currently, we are in the process of retrofitting an old aircraft cleansing hangar to be home to not only our route delivery and service business, but also to our future SkyWater™ bottling facility. This new space will allow us to carry more brands and packages for our customers that will enable us to achieve our main goal-- to be the Bay Area source for non-alcoholic beverages.

We hope to be completed with our construction in mid February. Watch for your invite to our grand opening probably sometime in April.
